Cultivar group, area of origin: Central Plains cultivar group, this historical cultivar is from the famous peony growing center of Heze, in Shandong province.
Growth habit and size at maturity (10 years old): Spreading habit, grows to 3′ tall and 3′ wide.
Flower form and size: Double form, 7-8″.
Flower fragrance: Spicy-sweet.
Bloom time: Mid-season tree peony, blooms in our USDA zone 6a garden in the second or third week of May.
