Notable characteristics: Double white streaked with raspberry red. This is a Japanese selection of P. lactiflora.
Cultivar group, hybridizer and year introduced: Inter-species hybrid, introduced by Orville W Fay.
Growth habit and size at maturity : Upright and spreading, grows to 30″ tall and wide. Excellent dark green foliage.
Flower form and size: Double form, 4-6″.
Flower fragrance: Light, sweet.
Bloom time: Mid season herbaceous peony, blooms in our USDA zone 6a garden in the first week of June.
Zone hardiness: Grows easily in USDA zones 4-8. Will likely grow in zone 3 and zone 9 with additional care.
